Level 3 Nursery Practitioner & Key Person

Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring person to join our nursery team from September 2022. You will be working as a key person to provide safe, high quality education and care for young children aged 2 to 5 years. You must be able to plan for children’s individual learning and development and deliver activities that meet their needs and interests. You will need to be a good communicator and build strong partnerships with parents to support children’s learning.

Dungaroos at the Riverside Nursery School is a well established pre-school in Winchester and offers children the opportunity to learn indoors and outdoors. You will need to be committed to delivering an outdoor curriculum as we predominantly work in the outdoor environment.

We are looking to employ someone to work 39 hours across the week. A job share for the right candidates will be considered.

This post requires you to hold a relevant Level 3 childcare qualification and it is desirable that you have a minimum of 1 years’ experience of working in a childcare environment.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and does require an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check. Applicants must be prepared to disclose any convictions they may have and any orders which have been made against them.
